The Country Gardeners of Eastern Lancaster County will sponsor a fall garden tour, themed "Fall in Love With Gardening," on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tour will feature seven local properties with ideas for gardening in the third season.

In addition to the season's typical sunflowers, the gardens include a variety of less-used perennials and annuals planted in unique combinations to create a new look. In one garden, tropical plants are featured at their best from a full summer's growth, and another takes a fruit tree to a new level. One garden has a catio built for a cat rescue person's passion.
