The Manheim Historical Society has announced its most recent acquisition, which was donated by Seth Shaw, son of Doug and Susan Shaw. The historical society acquired Doug's Manheim Central High School Class of 1961 varsity sweater and a trophy recognizing him as the Most Improved Football Player for 1960. The trophy was presented by the Manheim Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Doug is a longtime volunteer and the historical society's acquisition committee chairman.
