Team Jennifer Cahill Charities will host a Family Fun in the Sun Day on Saturday, Aug. 21, at the Reinholds Fairgrounds, 138 W. Main St., Reinholds. This community event is for people of all ages.

The event will include a motorcycle run sponsored by the Pennsylvania Riding Club and America First Riding Club. Registration will begin at 9 a.m., with kickstands up at 11 a.m. There is a fee to participate, with an additional fee per passenger. The route will be posted at http://www.tjcc.site.

Family Fun in the Sun Day will also feature a Craft and Product/Small Business Show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children will have plenty of activities to choose from, including water slides, a bounce house, an obstacle course, a dunk tank, carnival games, and cornhole. Entertainment will be provided by a DJ, with live music by Rambo Hill Revival from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Buckskin Whiskey performing from 7 to 9 p.m. Food trucks will be on-site, and attendees may also purchase chicken barbecue and hot dogs.

Founded in 2020, Team Jennifer Cahill Charities is a nonprofit organization benefiting female U.S. veterans who have terminal cancer. This grassroots organization was founded by Jennifer Cahill, a U.S. Air Force veteran, wife, daughter, sister, and stepmother to two teenagers. In hosting community events, the organization seeks to raise awareness and gain support for female veterans who have cancer.
