Fighter pilot to speak at Manufacturers' Association event

The Manufacturers' Association will hold its 118th annual event on Wednesday, May 22, in the Waldner Performing Arts Center at York College, 441 Country Club Road, York.

This year's keynote speaker will be Carey Lohrenz, an author and retired U.S. Navy lieutenant who is known as the first female F-14 Tomcat fighter pilot. Her address is titled "Fearless Leadership: Lessons From the Flight Deck."

An annual feature of the event is the recognition of outstanding member manufacturers, non-manufacturers, and individuals for their accomplishments and community contributions during the previous year. Nominations should be received by Friday, May 3, and should specify the nominee's accomplishments made during the 2023 year.
