ASSETS, 100 S. Queen St., Suite 246, Lancaster, will host its semiannual Finance Boot Camp on Thursdays, April 13 to May 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. The five-week crash course is designed for entrepreneurs with business ideas and start-up businesses who have not fully developed the financial foundation for their business. The course will be held in the Women's Business Center.

Those who complete the course will gain the financial knowledge needed to start and operate their business confidently. The course will cover accounting fundamentals, balance sheet and profit and loss statement, how to build a financial model, how to budget and do financial forecasting, cash flow, finance tasks and routines, common tax deductions, and how to calculate a gross profit margin.
