Financial services available

United Way of Chester County, in partnership with Citadel Credit Union and Open Hearth Inc., introduced an initiative designed to improve access to essential financial services. Building on the success of the pilot program in late 2023, this ongoing initiative will continue throughout 2024, offering remote financial services navigation to clients on the second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Citadel Credit Union locations at 558 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville; 105 Commons Drive, Oxford; and 4051 W. Lincoln Highway, Parkesburg. Upcoming dates include Feb. 10 and March 9.

In the belief that financial well-being plays a fundamental role in a thriving community, United Way of Chester County, Citadel Credit Union, and Open Hearth Inc. share a commitment to empowering individuals with the tools necessary for financial stability. Through this strategic partnership, experts from the Financial Stability Center will provide personalized assistance on topics including financial planning and budgeting, savings strategies, navigating financial resources, credit repair, debt reduction and income enhancement.
