Children of all ages and their parents are invited to join the Akron Volunteer Fire Company Halloween Parade on Wednesday, Oct. 25.

Parade staging will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the area of Broad Street Park. All participants must have a number, and the numbers will be provided at the parade staging area. At the end of the event, costumed children will be judged by age categories according to their assigned numbers.

The parade will start at the Broad Street Park, located at Playground Alley and Broad Street, and it will end at the Akron Fire Station, 1229 Main St., Akron. There, families may enjoy food and prizes for all.

In the case of rain, the parade will be canceled.
