Several fire companies, including Bowmansville, Farmersville, and Fivepointville, will hold a Fire Truck Parade at Fairmount, 333 Wheat Ridge Drive, Ephrata, on Saturday, Aug. 20. The public is invited to attend.

The parade will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Farm Crest campus, on the east side of Fairmount, and travel to the Wheat Ridge campus, on the west side, where participants will park and greet Fairmount residents and other spectators. Fire safety packets will be available for children.

Luke Nolt, who spent many months in Fairmount's rehabilitation unit recovering from an accident a few years ago, is coordinating this event. He will ride with the Bowmansville fire truck.
