Fischer Honored For Academic Achievement

Four members of the football team at Lebanon Valley College (LVC), Annville, landed on the 2021 National Football Foundation's (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players from all divisions of play who each maintain a cumulative 3.2 or higher grade point average throughout their college careers. Local students include Travis Fischer of East Earl.

Fischer is a graduate of Garden Spot High School and is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice. Fischer has also been named to the Middle Atlantic Conference academic honor roll three times and provided a memorable moment in 2019 when he scored a touchdown off a blocked punt against Widener University.
