Fitzpatrick honored for athletic achievements

The Lebanon Valley College Athletic Department celebrated the athletic and academic accomplishments of more than 600 student-athletes during the 74th annual All-Sports Reception inside the Louis A. Sorrentino '54 Gymnasium.

Kathleen Fitzpatrick, a junior from Middletown, received the Outstanding Female Athlete Award.

Fitzpatrick is a two-time All-MAC Commonwealth First Team selection and was the Rookie of the Year last year. This season, she finished second in scoring in the conference, with 17.3 points per game. She also shot 35.5% on three-pointers, making a total of 54 while shooting 39.1% from the field. Fitzpatrick finished the year with 432 points, 115 rebounds, 54 assists, and 21 steals. In her two years at Lebanon Valley, she has accumulated 692 points, 152 rebounds, 88 assists, and 45 steals.

Additionally, Fitzpatrick was named to the City of Basketball Love (CoBL) All-Area Team for the past two years. Fitzpatrick, who was named to the All-Rookie Team last year, earned a spot on the Fourth Team this year and was one of four Lebanon Valley basketball players named to the All-Area Team. CoBL is a nonprofit organization focused on the coverage of high school and college basketball in and around Philadelphia.

Fitzpatrick, a graduate of Middletown Area High School, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in business administration at Lebanon Valley College.
