Flintknapping workshop set

Circle Legacy Center will present a flintknapping workshop on Saturday, June 7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Blue Rock Heritage Center, 2251 River Road, Washington Boro.

There is a fee, and attendees must bring their own safety glasses or goggles and leather or cut-proof gloves. Participants will also need an antler or copper pressure flaker, and a leather hand pad and thigh pad are recommended. There will be a limited number of pressure flaking kits, which include antler, stone, and a leather hand pad, available for an additional fee. The rock will be supplied.
