Food Bank Will Move Operations

To better serve the needs of the community, the York County Food Bank will move its warehouse operations to a new location in Emigsville in May. The move is intended to allow the food bank to continue serving the community with greater efficiency.

For the past two years, the food bank has operated out of its Haines Road facility in East York. Kinsley Properties allowed the organization to use the space at no cost.

In addition to the warehouse move, the food bank announced that its drive-through food distribution will take place at 2530 Cape Horn Road, York, on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The food bank's main office will remain at its location at 254 W. Princess St., York.

Anyone who is struggling to put food on the table is encouraged to call 717-846-6435 or visit http://www.yorkfoodbank.org.
