The Row House Inc. will host a forum called "Dracula Takes the Pulse of Culture," featuring Geoffrey Reiter, on Friday, Sept. 16, at 7 p.m. at the Trust Performing Arts Center, 37 N. Market St., Lancaster. 2022 marks the 125th year of this seminal work.

Reiter, who teaches at Lancaster Bible College and writes on speculative fiction of all kinds, will uncover some of the book's religious underpinnings and have some fun with the many permutations and interpretations of the Count's mythology.

There will be refreshments and a question-and-answer period. Separate fees have been set for tickets purchased in advance and at the door. Row House members may attend for free with one guest.

An optional day-after brunch will take place on Saturday, Sept. 17, at 9 a.m. to continue the discussion. The brunch will take place at the Row House, 413 College Ave., Lancaster.
