The Hempfield Foundation will hold its 2021 golf tournament on Monday, June 14, at Conestoga Country Club, 1950 Stone Mill Road, Lancaster. Proceeds will go toward grants for classroom projects and activities in Hempfield School District.

The event will begin at 11 a.m. with registration and lunch, followed by a 12:30 p.m. start. Golfers may register individually or in a group of four; the deadline is Monday, June 7.

Founded in 1993, the Hempfield Foundation is a separate not-for-profit organization that supports the educational mission of the Hempfield School District through grants and scholarships. The foundation awards grants to the Hempfield faculty for initiatives that enhance the academic experiences of Hempfield students. During the 2021 Hempfield Senior Awards Night on May 17, the foundation gave out more than $25,000 in scholarships to graduating Hempfield seniors.
