Foundation seeks grant applications

Lower Dauphin Falcon Foundation (LDFF) recently announced its round two grant application date for the 2023-24 school year. Grant applications are being sought from Lower Dauphin faculty members, staff members, students and community members; the foundation is looking for applications that represent a broad range of ideas, applicants, students impacted and locations. Criteria for approval include consistency with LDFF's mission, the number of students impacted and the innovative aspects of the grant. The LDFF has funded 200 grants during the past 16 years totaling more than $132,000.

Round two funding requests should be submitted by Wednesday, Feb. 14, for summer projects through the start of the 2024-25 school year.

LDFF funded nine grants so far during the 2023-24 school year, ranging from an indoor bocce ball court at South Hanover Elementary to a French classroom library at Lower Dauphin High School.
