The Solanco Coats For All coat drive giveaway will take place on Friday, Nov. 21, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Oak Hill Fellowship Church, 1 W. Fourth St., Quarryville.

The giveaway will be a free shopping event for anyone in the community who is in need of a coat. Refreshments, including cookies, will be available while people search for a coat.

Throughout the month of October, businesses, churches, organizations, and individuals worked together to collect coat donations. Coat collection took place at various locations around the community, including Dewald Funeral and Cremation Services, Neff Physical Therapy, Solanco schools, Oak Hill Fellowship, Solanco Neighborhood Ministries, Union Presbyterian Church, Mt. Vernon Christian Church, Wesley Network, Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren, and Rock Church of Lancaster County.

Last year, Solanco Coats For All served 45 families and gave away 315 coats, and organizers hope to bless even more families with warm coats this year.
