Free concert tickets available for Manheim residents

Gretna Music will present musical performances from Sunday, June 18, to Sunday, Sept. 10, in the Mount Gretna Playhouse, 200 Pennsylvania Ave., Mount Gretna. This year's season will feature Grammy Award winners and nominees, and artists in many genres.

Through a grant from the Women's Club of Manheim, Gretna Music will offer 100 free tickets for its mainstage concerts to those with a Manheim Central address. There is a maximum of four tickets per household. Tickets can be reserved at http://www.gretnamusic.org using the code MANHEIMWOMEN or by calling the Gretna Music box office at 717-361-1508.

All Mainstage performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Mount Gretna Playhouse unless otherwise noted. The concerts will be "Time for Tango," a world debut concert, on June 18; Timberdale Brass at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 2; jazz trumpeter Etienne Charles on Friday, July 7; Peking Acrobats at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 8; Romantic piano music with Natasha Paremski on Sunday, July 9; Chanticleer on Sunday, July 23; jazz bass legend Buster Williams on Saturday, July 29; kora player and vocalist Sona Jobarteh on Sunday, July 30, Take 6 on Friday, Aug. 11; jazz pianist Chuchito Valdes on Saturday, Aug. 12; Wunderkinds, consisting of two teens, on Sunday, Aug. 13; Galvin Cello Quartet on Sunday, Aug. 27; Wister Quartet with pianist Marcantonio Barone at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 3; and "Bach's Beloved Brandenberg Concertos" with the Sebastians at 3 p.m. on Sept. 10.
