A free presentation titled "Hearing Loss: Beyond Hearing Aids" will be offered on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m. at Fairmount in Ephrata. Fairmount resident Dale Long and his colleague Bill Best will present the program, which will be held in the Wheat Ridge Gathering Room at 2100 Farm Crest Drive on the west side of the Fairmount campus. The public is invited to attend.

Best is a chapter leader of the Hearing Loss Association of America and has taken extensive training in assistive devices. His presentation will include a discussion and demonstration of the different kinds of assistive listening devices available in addition to hearing aids.

The presentation is geared to anyone with an interest in hearing loss, whether they are experiencing hearing loss or they know others with hearing loss.
