Capital Area Transit (CAT) and rabbittransit will offer free shared ride transportation service to any community member who needs transportation to and from his or her scheduled COVID-19 vaccination appointment. CAT and rabbittransit are dedicated to ensuring that transportation is not a barrier in getting vaccinated.

When scheduling a shared ride trip to a vaccination site, riders must have a confirmed COVID-19 appointment at the location they are requesting transportation to.

Additionally, advance reservations for transportation service to and from the vaccination appointment are required. Readers in the rabbittransit service area may contact the rabbittransit Call Center at 800-632-9063. Dauphin County residents may call the CAT Customer Service Center at 717-238-8304. CAT or rabbittransit staff will assist individuals in the reservation process. Reservations are required no later than noon on the business day prior to the vaccination appointment.
