Free vaccine clinic posted

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health will offer vaccines for children from birth to age 18 who do not have health insurance or have Medicaid. The clinic will take place on Thursday, May 18, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Northwest EMS station at 60 W. Colebrook St., Manheim.

Vaccines against chicken pox, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, Hib, hepatitis A and B, HPV, influenza, measles, mumps, rubella, meningitis, pneumococcal disease, polio and rotavirus will be available, as will Pfizer-BioNTech COVID Bivalent boosters.

The vaccines are only available to children without insurance or those with Medicaid. CHIP plans will not be accepted. The vaccines are free to eligible children.

A parent or guardian must accompany the child. The child's up-to-date vaccine record must be brought to the clinic to receive vaccines.
