Plans for the second year of Freedom Academy are underway, and the community is invited to an open house on Tuesday, March 7, or Thursday, March 9.

Freedom Academy offers preschool classes, as well as project-based learning electives, creative electives, and core classes for homeschool students in kindergarten through grade 12.

Students at Freedom Academy participate in environments that lead them to develop a biblical worldview and learn through healthy social interaction. Current class offerings include Crazy Concoctions, Kidwriting, Food Math, STEAMS, Biblical Citizenship, Arts & Craftsmanship, and Fantastic Fitness. Each semester will offer a variety of courses, and students enroll a la carte according to their interests.

More than 50 students are currently enrolled in Freedom Academy, located at 447 Noble Road, Christiana.

Families interested in walking through the facility and seeing the program first-hand are invited to schedule a tour. Each tour will conclude with a question-and-answer session. Following the tour, families will be provided an opportunity to apply for the fall semester.
