Mount Joy resident Rose Kidd has announced a sub and pretzel sandwich sale to benefit Jesus Hobbs House of Hope School in Kenya. The food will be provided by R&K Subs.

Kidd will spend time with the children who live at Jesus Hobbs House of Hope School during a trip to Kenya from Wednesday, Aug. 2, to Tuesday, Aug. 29. The money raised through the sub sale will help provide internet access at the home. Kidd previously visited Kenya last summer on a mission trip.

Orders and payment for subs and pretzel sandwiches are due no later than Friday, July 7. Orders may be placed by contacting Kidd at mountjoyrose@gmail.com. Subs will be delivered after 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, or before noon on Wednesday, July 19.
