Gallery plans summer show

The Square Halo Gallery within The Trust Performing Arts Center, 37 N. Market St., Lancaster, will feature work from Christians in Visual Arts (CIVA) for its summer show. CIVA was founded to equip those called to the visual arts to flourish in their holy vocation. The gallery is open from 6 to 9 p.m. on First Fridays, by appointment, and during events at The Trust.

After more than 40 years in operation, CIVA's board of directors has decided to dissolve the organization effective Friday, June 30. This summer exhibition at Square Halo recognizes some of the artists who pioneered the work of CIVA, as well as others who worked tirelessly over the years to help it thrive, including Sandra Bowden, Edward Knippers, Guy Chase, Tyrus Clutter, Allison Luce, Cam Anderson, Ned Bustard and Wayne Adams.

Square Halo Gallery is a space for contemporary art inspired by the Christian faith. To learn more, visit http://www.squarehalobooks.com and look under Gallery.
