The Amish Gap View Farm, located at 5230 Newport Road, Gap, will hold a Farm Beekeeper Open House and Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday, July 22, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The farm will have several special displays and events throughout the day, and it is all free to visit.

Of special note at the event will be the 5 p.m. milking, which will be open to all guests to watch up close and see what daily life is like inside an Amish farm. The resident beekeeper will perform a honey harvest, weather permitting.

The farm is estimated to be more than 300 years old; it was founded at the time of the earliest Amish settlers coming to Pennsylvania.
