The Women's Garden Club of Lancaster County will meet on Thursday, Jan. 22, from 1 to 3 p.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 301 St. Thomas Road, Lancaster.

Barbara Josephian and Cindy Todoroff will present "Pruning: What You Need to Know." They will discuss pruning tools, safety guidelines, which tools to use in various situations, and how to care for the tools. If interested, attendees will be able to practice pruning.

Guests are welcome to attend, and there is a fee. Attendees are welcome to bring Valentine's Day cards that will be distributed to veterans.
