Garden Spot Village receives grant

Garden Spot Village in New Holland has been awarded a $4.5 million Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grant for the construction of the Garden Spot Communities Center for Arts and Culture. The completed project will include studios and classrooms, along with office and storage space.

The RACP program, administered by the Office of the Budget, began in 1986 for the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects. In all, more than $590 million in RACP grants were recently awarded statewide.
