A garden talk will occur on Thursday, July 11, at 6:30 p.m. at the Kreutz Creek Library, 66 Walnut Springs Road, Hellam. Melanie Markowski of the Green Thumb Garden Club of Red Lion will speak about "Cool Lightning Bugs and Spiders in Your Garden." Markowski will explain how an abundance of these creatures may keep gardens safe from plant-damaging insects.
