A Mother/Son Superhero Bowling event will be held on Saturday, March 8, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Clearview Lanes, 1990 W. Main St., Mount Joy. The event will include unlimited bowling with snacks and drinks, along with prizes. Attendees are encouraged to wear superhero costumes, and a prize will be awarded for those with the best costumes. Boys are welcome to bring their mother or any important female in their lives. The registration deadline is Saturday, March 1. Preregistration is required and limited; space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

GEARS will offer an Iddy Biddy Soccer Program for kids ages 3 to 5 on Saturdays, April 5 to May 17, from 9 to 9:45 a.m. (Class A) and 10 to 10:45 a.m. (Class B) at Elizabethtown Area High School Field 2, 800 E. High St., Elizabethtown. The program will not be held on Saturday, April 19. Coaches will teach the fundamentals of soccer through games and stations. Emphasis will be placed on building confidence and teamwork. The fee includes a T-shirt. Shin guards are recommended, and cleats are optional.

GEARS will offer indoor pickleball lessons for people age 16 and up at the Elizabethtown Brethren in Christ Church, 996 E. High St., Elizabethtown, on Wednesdays, March 12, 19, and 26, from 10 to 11 a.m. Participants will learn basic techniques, rules, and strategies. Equipment will be provided.
