The Elizabethtown Girls Lacrosse Club for girls in grades five to nine will begin its season on Monday, March 13, and run through Saturday, May 13. Practice will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Field 1 at Elizabethtown Area High School, 600 E. High St., Elizabethtown. This program will teach the basics of lacrosse. Games will be held on Saturdays in the Lancaster area.

Pickleball lessons will be available for adults age 18 and over in the gym at Elizabethtown Brethren in Christ Church, 996 E. High St., Elizabethtown. Classes will be offered for beginners from noon to 1 p.m. and for beginner and intermediate players from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesdays, April 4 to 18. Lessons will cover basic techniques, rules, and strategies. All equipment will be provided.

An AARP Driver Safety Refresher Program will be held on March 13 from 8 a.m. to noon at the East Donegal Township Municipal Building, 190 Rock Point Road, Marietta. It is for drivers age 50 and older who have previously taken the eight-hour 55 Alive course. This course will fulfill requirements for a continuing insurance discount from any auto insurer doing business in Pennsylvania. All participants must bring evidence of previous course completion to receive the certificate. Participants must bring a valid Pennsylvania driver's license. Registration is required. The course fee is discounted for AARP members.

POUND will be held from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. at Fighting Dragons, 101 Cherry St., Elizabethtown, on Fridays, March 17 to May 19, with no class on April 7. Participants will use Ripstix, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercise. Participants should bring a yoga mat. The class is open to individuals age 14 and older.
