GEARS will provide an indoor soccer program for boys and girls in grades one to four on Saturdays, Feb. 8 to March 22, from 11:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. in the gym at the Bear Creek School, 1459 Sheaffer Road, Elizabethtown. There will be no session on March 8. Led by Elizabethtown College soccer players, the program is designed to be instructional and provide opportunities for youths to participate in low-key games. The fee includes a T-shirt and instruction.

Making Budgets Work will be presented by M & T Bank on Wednesday, Feb. 5, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the GEARS Community Center, 70 S. Poplar St., Elizabethtown. Topics will identifying personal obstacles to budgeting; creating a structure to track and analyze spending; setting short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals; the importance of reducing debt and building emergency savings; and strategies to manage day-to-day spending. The class is free of charge and open to people age 18 and up.

Kristen Patterson, owner of Sorted & Staged Home Enhancement Services, will present Kickstart to Cleaning Your Clutter on Saturday, Feb. 22, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Elizabethtown Area Senior Center at the GEARS Community Center. The program aims to help people uncover the sources of their clutter and learn ways to tackle the mess.
