An Intro to Medicare class will be offered from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, at the Elizabethtown Senior Center, 70 S. Poplar St., Elizabethtown. The basics of Medicare will be explained, including how and when to sign up for Medicare, what is covered by the different parts of Medicare (A, B, C, and D), and what the difference is between a Medicare Supplemental (Medigap) and a Medicare Advantage plan. Participants will walk through how to find a plan that best fits their needs. Several rounds of Medicare bingo will be played at the conclusion of the class.

A Salute America bus trip to Ellis Island and the 9/11 Memorial Site in New York City will be offered on Saturday, May 21. Motorcoach transportation will depart the parking lot at Elizabethtown Area High School, 600 E. High St., Elizabethtown, at 6:30 a.m.

GEARS Coed Kickball League will begin play on Tuesday, June 7, and run through mid-August. Teams and individuals interested in playing in the league must submit a team roster and registration fee no later than Friday, May 20. Games will take place on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Elizabethtown Park field. Teams must have three females on the field at all times.
