Geyers Church To Host Bible School

Geyers United Methodist Church, 1605 S. Geyers Church Road, Middletown, will hold a community Bible school on Sunday, June 12, through Thursday, June 16, from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. Children throughout the community from age 3 through high school are welcome to attend. Teens will participate in age-appropriate activities and spend time together with other teens.

The theme for the week is "Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus." Attendees will discover how Jesus rescues people in the midst of life's storms. Activities will include Bible stories, outdoor games including GaGa Ball, crafts, science, music videos, and snacks. Participants will travel to different areas in groups, and they will be able to choose their group.

Preregistration is not required; however, parents must fill out a registration form on the first night that their child attends, and it is requested that parents sign their child in and out each night to help ensure their safety.

The church's teachers and helpers have been cleared to work with children and youths through the United Methodist Church's Safe Sanctuaries program.
