During the Giant Company's Feeding School Kids initiative, it invited shoppers to round up their shopping bill to the nearest dollar to help combat hunger.

Thanks to Giant's support from Store 6279, located on Hershey Road in South Hanover Township, the Lower Dauphin School District received nearly $8,000 to pay off the lunch debt of students across the district who are receiving free or reduced-cost meals.
