The Lancaster Science Factory, 454 New Holland Ave., Lancaster, has announced that enrollment for the fall session of the Girls Code Club is now open.

Girls ages 8 to 13 with any level of experience with coding are invited to join monthly meet-ups after school or on the weekends. Girls can explore coding and computer science concepts in a supportive environment. Instructors who are working in the computer science field will spotlight role models and real-world applications.

Now in its eighth year, the Girls Code Club at the Lancaster Science Factory has introduced more than 300 girls to computer science.

A registration fee will be charged per student for nine monthly sessions from September through May 2024. The fee includes a Girls Code Club T-shirt.
