What is the mission of Red Lion ROARS?

Rallying to Organize Arts, Recreation, and Service.

Why is the organization excited to participate in Give Local York this year?

As a newly formed nonprofit (as of Jan. 23, 2020) in the borough of Red Lion, we are excited to begin a more focused effort within the borough to support our local businesses and entrepreneurs and our parks and recreation events and to highlight our rich history and heritage as a vital location in York County.

A small building at the center of town is being refreshed and updated to serve as a welcome center for information for visitors and residents. This "old" building has been renamed "The LEO Center - at the Square." Participating in this year's Give Local York will help us gain visibility as we begin this premiere year in our community.

The LEO Center - at the Square will be the central location for information about local businesses, special events, and activities. Red Lion ROARS is focused on supporting the ongoing opportunities available while providing new ideas for community enhancement and rejuvenation. Financial donations and volunteer efforts are vitally important to this new vision.
