What is the mission of St. John the Baptist Catholic School?

The mission of our school organization is to develop the whole child by providing for their spiritual, educational, emotional, and physical needs in partnership with the parents. We help students begin to develop the essential habits of mind and spirit that will inspire them to acquire, with confidence, an appetite for lifelong learning, a curiosity about the world, and a heartfelt concern for others.

Why is the school excited to participate in Give Local York this year?

We are very excited about being a part of this great philanthropic day of giving. This event is a beautiful way in which we can show our students the power of community. Our students participate in mission days to benefit their community all year, but this day is a really exciting way to show them generosity at work in a big way. This is our first year of participation, and we are hoping to make this an annual event of giving in action to support our school and students and their missions throughout the year.
