What is the mission of Susquehanna Valley Community Mental Health Services (SVCMHS)?

SVCMHS is dedicated to serving survivors of complex trauma and addictions, with a special focus on treating survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Through our partnerships with other community organizations, we are proud to be part of a network of care for those who have been trafficked.

Why is the organization excited to participate in Give Local York this year?

We are hoping to educate people about human trafficking in York County and to raise money to assist in providing mental health services for this population, regardless of their ability to pay.
