What is the mission of Team Deputy Lutz?

Team Deputy Lutz is proud to be a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting our brave law enforcement officers who risk their lives every day to protect the citizens of Pennsylvania. Donations will support these heroic men and women when they are wounded in the line of duty by helping to alleviate the initial stress of financial burden, enabling them to focus on what is most important: healing and spending time with their loved ones.

Why is the organization excited to participate in Give Local York this year?

Team Deputy Lutz understands firsthand the many obstacles law enforcement officers face following an injury, so we will advocate for needed change. We will fight for financial assistance for family members of wounded officers to seek therapy and other treatments directly related to their loved one's trauma. We believe that law enforcement officers deserve a universal benefits and medical care system similar to what American soldiers receive. We believe our country should be doing more to improve the quality of life for our home front protectors.
