What is the mission of York Habitat for Humanity?

York Habitat for Humanity believes that everyone deserves a safe, decent, affordable, and healthy place to live. York Habitat builds these homes for low-income families to purchase through Habitat's program.

Why is the organization excited to participate in Give Local York this year?

York Habitat for Humanity is excited to again be a part of Give Local York to raise funds to help finish the largest project in York Habitat's 34-year history: the Chestnut Street Revitalization Project, which will result in 14 new homes for qualified, low-income families.
