The Glatfelter Agency (TGA), the local retail division of Glatfelter Insurance Group, recently named Jeff Kile as president of its downtown York office. In his new role, Kile will focus on driving growth across all TGA lines of business, managing carrier relationships and upholding the reputation of the agency.

Kile has been with TGA for more than 19 years, beginning as an intern in 2003. He has earned distinguished industry designations to broaden his education and better serve clients, consistently growing his book of business each year and serving as a top-producing agent.

Outside of his professional achievements, Kile earned the Volunteer of the Year Award from the York County Economic Alliance in 2017. He has personally supported numerous local organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of York & Adams County, York County Chamber of Commerce, York County Economic Alliance, YMCA of York and York County and Junior Achievement of South Central PA. He has also served on a variety of fundraising committees for organizations such as Cultural Alliance of York County, WellSpan's Kids First Campaign, United Way of York County, YMCA of York & York County and LifePath Christian Ministries.

In addition to Kile's promotion, Jennifer Spinks, former director of client services, will step into a new role as vice president of retail operations for TGA. Spinks will be responsible for the overall direction and quality of TGA account management teams across all lines of business. She will help ensure that the policies and procedures of TGA's support functions are structured in a way that enables efficient delivery of industry-leading customer service.
