Golf Classic Raises Funds

Chester County United Way recently held its fourth annual Golf Classic event, which raised $130,000 to benefit its Community Impact and Innovation Fund. This fund supports innovative programs focused on financial security, youth opportunity, and community health throughout Chester County. Brumbaugh Wealth Management, the presenting sponsor of the sold-out tournament, joined Chester County United Way in hosting the event at Penn Oaks Golf Club.

The day brought together a group of golfers, sponsors, and community leaders for an afternoon of friendly competition, connection, and purpose. Guests enjoyed a full schedule of on-course contests, refreshment stations, a luncheon, a cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres, dinner, and an awards ceremony.

The winners for the outing are as follows: Team 1: Abel Brothers Towing (Walter Mahowsky, Sean Scull, Justin Scull, and Matt Brooks); Team 2: Arthur J. Gallagher & Company Inc. (Tim Gillan, Mark Gentilotti, Ernest Gillan, and Rob Dollfus); Team 3: RKL (Christopher Perillo, Nate Pfeiffer, Kyle Shuman, and Staci Kimock); Closest to the Hole 3, Men: Christopher Perillo; Closest to the Hole 3, Women: Kathy Wileczek; Longest Drive 18, Men: Sean Scull; and Longest Drive 18, Women: Holly Graver.

Supporting the event were platinum lead sponsors Penn Oaks Golf Club, CCRES, CTDI, Greater Philadelphia Business Coalition on Health, PECO, Truist, and Rayze.
