A fundraiser golf tournament to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation will be held on Sunday, Aug. 28, at Highlands of Donegal, 650 Pinkerton Road, Mount Joy. Check-in will start at noon, and the scramble-format tournament will begin at 1 p.m.

The tournament is organized by Josh Becker in honor of his 5-year-old son, Lucian, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes just before his third birthday. Lucian must have four shots each day, and he and his caregivers must closely monitor his sugar level.
