Golf Outing To Aid United Way

United Way of Chester County will host its inaugural Golf Outing at Penn Oaks Golf Club, 150 Penn Oaks Drive, West Chester, on Tuesday, April 26. This event will replace the Live United in Color 5K.

Proceeds will benefit the United Way of Chester County's Community Impact & Innovation Fund. Participants will help United Way of Chester County in its efforts to bring about the education, health, and financial stability of every person in Chester County.

To launch this first-time event, Meridian Bank will serve as the presenting sponsor. Charlie Kochka, the bank's executive vice president and chief lending officer, noted that Meridian also supports United Way of Chester County by holding an employee giving campaign, contributing to prekindergarten programs through the EITC program, and providing a corporate gift and sponsorship for the Live United in Music event.

The mission of United Way of Chester County is to unite people and mobilize resources to build better lives and stronger communities.
