Golf tournament raises funds for Vista Autism Services

Vista Autism Services held its 16th annual Golf Classic at Dauphin Highlands in Harrisburg on June 3. One hundred thirty golfers took part.

The 2023 Vista Golf Classic included several hole-in-one opportunities, where golfers had the chance to win a vacation or $10,000 in cash. Also at the event were games of chance that included a putting contest, closest-to-the-pin and on-the-green. The event concluded with a banquet.

The banquet included remarks from Vista's CEO, Nze Obinelo, as well as a parent who spoke about her family's journey with Vista, prize drawings for close to 20 items donated by local businesses and members of the community, and awards presented to the best and most notable players at this year's event.

A total of $59,100 was raised through the 2023 Golf Classic. Proceeds from the event will be used to expand and strengthen current Vista programs, bridge service gaps, improve facilities, and more, all benefiting children and adults with autism throughout central Pennsylvania.
