Community United Methodist Church, 130 Tennyson Drive, Lancaster, will host a group experience called "Grieving Our Losses" at 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays, Sept. 9, 16, 23 and 30.

The purpose of this gathering will be to provide a time of learning and sharing for those who have lost loved ones. The group facilitator will be Harry Kaufhold, pastor of the church and a trained marriage and family therapist. Discussion topics will include "Is what I'm experiencing normal?" and "How long before I can start to feel better and live life with joy again?" and "Is there anything I can do to help the process of grieving?" Each session will also provide an opportunity for attendees to share their experiences with one another.
