Holly Grube of New Providence, a member of the Lebanon Valley College softball team, was named Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom Player of the Week twice.

For the week ending March 9, Grube led the Dutchmen to a 4-4 record against strong competition in Florida with a .481 batting average, .517 on-base percentage, and .704 slugging percentage. The first-year had 13 hits in eight games with two doubles and two triples. She also knocked in four runs and scored twice. She pitched in seven games as well, accumulating a 2-2 record with one save and a 1.94 ERA. Grube had five multi-hit games during the week, including the last four contests. She went 2 for 3 in a tough 8-0 defeat against ninth-ranked Trine University on March 7 and 3 for 3 in a 7-3 victory over Allegheny College on March 4, a game in which she also earned the win in the circle. Additionally, Grube had three hits and picked up the victory in the circle in an 8-7 nine-inning win over Concordia University Wisconsin on March 7.

For the week ending April 6, Grube led the Dutchmen to a 3-0 record with a .545 average, a 1.000 slugging percentage, and two complete games in the circle. The first-year had three extra-base hits with two doubles and a home run while scoring five runs and knocking in two. She started the week with a 3-for-4 day with a double, a stolen base, and two runs scored in an 11-0 victory at Franklin & Marshall College on April 2. Grube also pitched in the game and held the Diplomats to one hit in six innings. Grube then went 1 for 3 with a run scored in a 5-2 game one victory at Misericordia University on April 4. She also pitched a complete game to earn her second win of the week. Grube finished the week with a home run and a double as the Dutchmen completed the sweep of the Cougars with a 10-1 five-inning victory. Grube knocked in the first run of the game with a double in the first inning and then homered in the second inning.

Grube, a graduate of Solanco High School, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in business administration at Lebanon Valley College.
