Hall Of Fame Increases Internet Presence

Lancaster County Sports Hall of Fame is endeavoring to develop a greater presence in Lancaster County sports by launching a website and social media accounts. The organization, which originated as the Old Timers Athletic Association, is transitioning to an up-to-date group that recognizes both career achievement and daily accomplishments of local high school and college athletes.

The group will continue presenting its J. Freeland Chryst Awards and the George W. Kirchner Award as well as recognizing Volunteers and Athletes of the Year. The new website will include noteworthy athletic achievements, remembrances of Hall of Fame members, trivia questions and information about community sports events. Social media will support the effort.
