Halloween Talk Scheduled

On Saturday, Oct. 23, the Lancaster Medical Heritage Museum will hold its first fundraising event. Halloween Lecture and Lager: Medical History on Tap will be held at 551 West Lancaster, 551 W. King St., Lancaster.

Dr. Erin Shelor, professor of history at Millersville University, will discuss "Grave Robbing and the Study of Anatomy in Early 19th Century Britain." Along with the lecture, guests will be able to purchase food and beverages from 551 West's menu.

Admission is free, but seats are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. To register, visit http://www.lmhmontap.eventbrite.com. For those who cannot attend in person, the lecture will also be broadcast over YouTube Live and TikTok. All proceeds will benefit the Lancaster Medical Heritage Museum.
