HARTZ Physical Therapy presents donation

HARTZ Physical Therapy (PT) recently presented a check for $10,000 to Off the Streets, an all-volunteer organization that has assisted more than 5,070 men, women and children since 2013 to access permanent housing. The money was the result of HARTZ PT's third annual Spring Swing Golf Tournament, which was held on May 10 at Crossgates Golf Club in Millersville.

The Spring Swing Golf Tournament was organized by HARTZ PT therapists and avid golfers Daulton Rutter and Kevin Sisbarro.

Through the HARTZ PT Charitable Organization founded in 2020, HARTZ PT spends an average of 50 volunteer hours and contributes more than $1,000 per employee in support of local charities each year.  To date the company has raised more than $350,000 by planning various charitable events, including an April food drive called Feed the Need that benefited the Arch Street Center, and the annual Fall Blast 5K Run/Walk.

Gigi's Playhouse, Bench Mark Program, A Week Away, Aaron's Acres, Lancaster Science Factory and Hospice of Lancaster are a few of the local charities that have benefited from HARTZ PT's charitable programs.
