The Hempfield Community Belonging Initiative (HCBI) invites residents to a free information session on Thursday, May 2, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Church of the Apostles United Church of Christ, 1850 Marietta Ave., Lancaster. The session, titled "Funding Our Future: Take Action for PA Schools," will delve into the current state of public education funding in Pennsylvania and its impact on the Hempfield School District. The presenters will be Erin Small of Education Voters of PA and Beth Reeves of POWER Interfaith.
